Fujifilm's CA photo paper and DPII photo paper are both specific types of paper for photo developing chemistry, but they have different characteristics:
CA Photo Paper (Crystal Archive):
- CA photographic paper, or Crystal Archive, is a registered trademark of Fujifilm.
- It is known for its image quality, durability and resistance.
- It is used for everyday prints, and in the lab it is the paper we use for developing and creating digital albums for our final consumer brand.
- It's also a more economical option.
DPII Photo Paper (Digital Print II):
- DPII paper is also manufactured by Fujifilm and is designed for high-quality digital printing.
- Excellent image stability.
- Pure whites that result in more distinctive prints
- It offers a wide colour range, sharp details and a glossy surface.
- DPII paper is used in professional photo labs and by photographers to produce high-definition prints.
To summarise, both types of Fujifilm photo paper are designed to reproduce high-quality images, but they differ in terms of specific characteristics, and can be chosen based on the specific needs of the project to be printed and the price/quality requirement requested by your client.
